Speed-Build Competitions
We will be hosting two different speed-build competitions. In both, participants will race against the clock and other builders for the bragging rights of the fastest fingers! Both events are casual contests and open to all skill levels. See below for details on each contest.

Battle of the Bricks
This is our premier event and designed primarily for business’ or groups who want to put together a team. Or get a friend and collect your own sponsors! It’s still designed to be fun and light-hearted, so even if you are a LEGO novice, you’ll fit right in!
- $100 registration fee.
- Designed for 2 person teams, recommended age 9+.
- Each registration includes 2 people (welcome to enter with only 1 person if you prefer).
- A mid-size lego set (approximately 300 pieces) is included in the registration cost.
- Participants get to keep their set to take home (note: there is only 1 set per team).
- This event will have set start times between 11am and 1pm. Final schedule will be announced after the registration deadline.
Poly Bag Sprints
This event is primarily designed for kids to have the chance to try their hand at speed building for a low cost while supporting our mission. Poly Bags are the small, bagged LEGO sets, meaning these will be small, quick builds, perfect for all skill levels.
- $10 registration fee.
- Designed for kids age 5+ (parents are welcome to help).
- Each registration includes only 1 registered participant.
- A small poly bag LEGO set is included in the registration cost.
- Participants get to keep their set to take home.
- This event will be going on throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequent questions to help you plan for the event!
What’s included in my $5/family entry fee?
All the activities above in the “Event Activities” section, but note those with a $ have additional cost.
Can I register for either Speed-Build Competition the day of the event?
Please register in advance, as sets will be purchased based on our pre-registration numbers. There may be limited day-off registrations available for the Poly Bag Sprint only.
Is there an age limit?
All ages are welcome for the event and we will have activities that should be accessible for all ages of builders. For the Battle of the Bricks, the set is recommended for ages 9 and up. For Poly Bag Sprints, the set is recommended for ages 5 and up.
Can our Battle of the Bricks team get 2 LEGO sets?
No, each registration only includes one set.
How many people can enter under one family?
Our per family pricing is intended to allow for parents or guardians to enter with their children under age 18.
Is re-entry allowed?
We’ll have hand stamps at the registration table, make sure you get your hand stamped, then you are welcome to come and go as you please!
Can I take home LEGO from the event?
No, all bulk LEGO for our hands-on activities must remain at the event. Only those doing the Battle of the Bricks or Poly Bag Sprints will take home their set that is included in those registrations.
Can I bring my own LEGO to the event?
No, we highly discourage bringing any LEGO of your own, as we will have lots of bulk LEGO and build stations around, making it very easy to loose your personal LEGO.
Is there a discount for doing Battle of the Bricks with only 1 person?
No, the Battle of the Bricks is $100, even if you are registering as an individual.
